Celia:

Has anyone noticed color bleeding with this gloss?  I never get problems with regular gloss/lipstick but this one tends to creep into my skin around my mouth.  I’m thinking it’s because it’s a gloss/stain that I notice it.  Also, I used the girl lipliner to help create a blockade but it wasn’t enough.  What’s a good lip fill for bleeding?

There are a ton of lip fillers/primers on the market but have you ever considered using the TSB primer a bit around the lip area concentrating on those areas where it bleeds?  Blend a little ONTO the lip but remember it’s to seal so use around the perimeter....Tricia’s primer has sodium hyaluronate which will act to pull moisture from within skin and around it plumping any fine lines and the silicone in the primer will also act to fill and seal.  Still go through with the liner making sure to really line but not blend as much so as to create a second barrier....in other words make sure the line near where the bleeding occurs is full and not blended out. THAT plus the primer should help...another thing..glosses and anything liquidy will increase this problem, but a cream lipstick (especially once set with a thin layer of the TSB powder and with liner) should not bleed as much...just remember that any emulsification (read: if you top the cream with too much gloss) will cause the lipstick and gloss to become liquid and when THAT happens, you get migration and movement!!!!!

If you wanna highlight without the gloss, try TRicia’s suggestion of using Eye Slept in the center of the top and bottom lip (on the top around the cupid’s bow and directly in the center of the bottom lip blended outward).

jose, thanks for the tips/chemistry lesson!  i normally don’t have any bleeding/fine line problems so i was just curious if it was the product or me.

i’m going to try some primer, foundation, liner to prevent the joker mouth.  i love it but it’s not a swipe and go for me.

Charlene-

I tried to take a pic of my lips myself on my cell, so it’s kind of a funny perspective.  I have TSB natural gloss on top.

okay here are my lips in gigantic proportions.
The first is with MACs Fleshpot lipstick underneath and second is without anything.  In the second picture I somehow could not recreate how I took the first. So second is without flash.

OK - Here I am, face & all wearing Clearly Pretty and Skinny & mascara (I should have put on alive!- man, I look tired, but then I actually am, it’s been a long day).  I smiled so I wouldn’t look too much like Tim Curry.  As you can see, I have a very skinny upper lip - hard to believe that was my mouth earlier!

I’M NEW AT THIS PICTURE POSTING, SO I HOPE MY FACE DOESN’T LOOK AS BIG AS MY LIPS DID-I CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT MOVIE JOSE WILL COME UP WITH IF I HAVE!

Jose- the castor oil is working on my eyebrows, but they’re looking kind of funky (they seem to grow down instead of up!) , but I am forbidden to touch them with tweezers again.

Hot Patootie, Bless my Soul - Jose & Chuck really know their Rocky Horror!

Celia smile

(I just got my hair cut today, I’m trying for the Renee Zellweiger short hair cut, but unfortunately, my hair has been really short, so I’m having to grow into it.  Maybe by summer!)

Rocky Horrorness must run through our family - I found this picture of Emma from a couple of years ago.  Don’t worry, she hasn’t seen the movie, and won’t for many years to come, but we did let her see the “Time Warp” dance video on YouTube.  She is a total ham.  Think Tricia could do for another Clearly Pretty in Emma’s lip color - I’d like to see that try to turn fuschia on Charlene!
