Melissa,

I just saw the Paris blog on your website!  The picture of you in front of the Eiffel Tower is a classic—cloudy sky, trenchcoat-- you look gorgeous!

Those are great pictures. The trench coat is very classic Paris. Her hair is very Audrey Hepburn.

Celia, Monty, Charlene,

You all are so very sweet!  Someday I will tell you all the story of that trip and those pictures (there is a little more too it—very exciting).  It was my first trip to Europe too!  I was so amazed by everything from the people, food, history, culture, etc.  Thanks for all the compliments!  You have made my day!

Melissa, what was the best makeup tip/secret you learned while in Paris?  While in Paris in 2001, I was awe-struck by their seemingly natural beauty.  One of the local shop keepers told me it was because they protected their skin from an early age, and ate healthier than us “Americans”......whatever!!!!!

What do you think???

Hi Luv!

Are you sure you want to hear what I have to say?  Okay, here is what I saw and learned while in Paris—they do eat healthier than us Americans!  Everything is made fresh daily and they do not consume more than what is served—that might be the ultimate beauty secret right there, because what you put into your body has a direct effect on your skin, etc.  I ate well in Paris and walked everywhere—drank tons of water, got a good amount of sleep and of course, I was smiling and happy the entire time because I was with my husband and my very good friends in PARIS!!!

I found the French people to be very enthusiastic, passionate, educated and that made them all very beautiful regardless of what their physical appearance may have been.  I also found that from a makeup artist point of view, their products are very high quality, have amazing pigmentation and their packaging was elegant and classic.  I learned that the French truly care about what goes into their product and how it is presented.  Tricia has that same standard and that is why the TSB product line is very unique.  It is not cheap, trashy or trendy!  Don’t you all agree?

So sorry Luv that I don’t have some amazing beauty “trick” learned by a very glamorous makeup artist in France (Tricia and I already know everything—ha, ha, ha—just kidding)!
